Gerard Geijtenbeek


Born in Utrecht, The Netherlands. Married, 5 children, 2 grandchildren.

Studied at Aeres University of Applied Sciences, animal husbandry and economics. Worked for many years as a teacher and lecturer on agricultural vocational education and an agricultural university of applied sciences in the field of animal husbandry, physics, chemistry, economics and business management.

Took over the family owned business Roldo Rent in 1993. Developed and introduced new products for the removal market. Started with the rental of crates at the continental Europe. Opened a network of depots. First in The Netherlands and later in Germany, Belgium, Austria and Switzerland. Recently he introduced a RFID track and trace system to manage assets. Unique of this system is tracking on location. Always looking for green solutions.

Besides his job he was community councilor, international secretary of a political party and worked voluntarily for several international NGO’s in the field of agricultural developments, media and politics. He still is chairman of the museum in the village he lives.
