It is still under question: is Eriks Stendzenieks a copywriter with a nose for an art
direction or an art director with the ability to write. In any case, he has created some of the most cornerstone visuals in Latvian advertising history and has written some of the best copy as well.
ZOOM! advertising agency was founded in 1997, quickly developed its signature,
and by 2001 became the most widely rewarded agency in the history of Baltic advertising, named the Creative Agency of the Year for almost decade in a row. His agency has won more than hundred awards, including Cannes Lions, Epica, Grand Prix, Gold and Silver at Golden Drum festival. ZOOM! designed the Latvian national pavilion for EXPO ’98 in Lisbon, as well as created the campaign for Latvia’s accession to the European Union in 2004. In 2006 the agency reversed its name to !MOOZ.
Stendzenieks has been deeply involved in social projects and has created some of the
most widely recognized social awareness campaigns in the country. Recent projects include the communication campaign for introducing euro in Latvia in 2014.

In 2005 he was elected president of the Latvian Art Directors Club and currently runs it. He is also a member of the Latvian Design Council and is working on a new model for creative education in Latvia.
The magazine “Klubs” has nominated Ēriks Stendzenieks as one of the 50 most influential people in Latvia.
